Dowry: A Symbol of Injustice and Exploitation
This painting shows that women are tortured for dowry and for giving birth to a girl. After this, their parents also abandon them. Due to which the girl is forced to commit suicide.
इस पेंटिंग में दिखाया गया है कि महिलाओं को दहेज के लिए और बेटी को जन्म देने के कारण प्रताड़ित किया जाता है। इसके बाद उनके माता-पिता भी उन्हें छोड़ देते हैं। जिस कारण लड़की आत्महत्या करने के लिए मजबूर हो जाती है।
